Come to the closing celebration of a three week South Africa/USA Performing Artists Exchange:

These 10 USA artists/youth activists have been partnered with SA partners and been working with youth from the following places in CT:

Filia School in Goodwood
SYEC (Special Youth Education Centre), in Kraaifontein
Nyanga Cultural Arts Centre
Brown Paper Studios
Siyasanga Theatre
Mamela Music Project, inManenberg
Lyrical Base Poetry Project, in Langa Township
Pitch Black Films
Decks Education, DJEazy
PASCAP (partners in after school care programs)

IZANDI is the gathering of the youth they have worked with, their families and organisation representatives, community leaders and USA/SA artist exchange partners showcasing extracts of what they have learnt & created together, using music, theatre, dance, hip hop, poetry, song and film.
